Marvin J. Rudnitsky, J.D., Managing Partner

Marvin J. Rudnitsky, J.D. is the managing partner of our firm. His professional focus is on the law of Tax, Estates and Trusts, and Estate, Wealth, and Business Planning. He holds the "AV" rating, the highest rating issued by Martindale-Hubble, the international legal directory.

Rudnitsky was adjunct faculty of the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University since 1974.to 2005. He also teaches Estate Planning to Certified Public Accountants, Insurance Professionals, Financial Advisors, and Attorneys. He is Adjunct Professor at the Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University.

Active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, he has served over 20 years in the House of Delegates as Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Practice Section and authored several articles for its newsletter. Rudnitsky received the Special Achievement Award. He is a contributory author to Strictly Business published in 2001 and Giving, Philanthropy for Everyone published in 2002. He was three times elected to serve as a delegate to the American Bar Association's House of Delegates. He  served a six years on the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, finishing as its Chairman,  as well as serving as Zone Governor for the Pennsylvania Bar Association. At the ABA, he is a member of the Tax and Real Property, Probate and Trust Sections. He is Chair of the Estates Law Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute where he also serves as Director and Vice President.

A Distinguished Military Graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (1964), He was a Cpatain in the uS Army JAGC and served as a military judge. He was appaoined an assistant attorney general in the Pennsylvania Department of justice. He was named a Centennial Fellow of the College of Liberal Arts at PSU in 2009.  Rudnitsky received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (1967), where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board. He is a member WealthCounsel, the national association of  Estate Planning Attorneys, ElderCounsel, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a fellow of the Master's Program of the Esperti-Peterson Institute for Wealth Strategies Planning.
